Beautycounter is the leader in the safer skin care and cleaner cosmetics category and whose mission is to get safer products into the hands of everyone.  Beautycounter formulates safer and high performing skin care and beauty products without including more than 1,500 ingredients as compared to the 30 ingredients banned in the US. We screen every ingredient for safety as it relates to cancer, cell damage, reproductive toxicity and skin irritation.

Beautycounter shares transparently every single ingredient on our skin care and beauty product packages and on Beautycounter.com. We are a Certified B Corporation by the nonprofit B lab to meet rigorous standards of social and environmental performance, accountability and transparency.

About me:  I have been a Director at Beautycounter for the past 3 years and am here to personalize your experience.

I also book one-on-one appointments and product drop-offs.  Hosting a social is also a fun and great way to educate your friends and family and earn free products at the same time so let me know if interested!

Q What is the Never List

The Never List is made up of more than 1,500 questionable or harmful chemicals that we never use as ingredients in our products. This includes the 1,400 chemicals banned or restricted in personal care products by the European Union plus additional chemicals screened by Beautycounter and found to be of concern.

Q Does Beautycounter test on animals?

No. We're proud to say that we don't test our products on animals. That's why we're certified by Leaping Bunny, the gold standard for animal cruelty free certification for cosmetics & personal care products.

Q Why does Beautycounter talk about transparency and ingredient disclosure?

Cosmetic, skin care and personal care products are not labelled accurately. We believe you have the right to know all the ingredients in your products and we make our labels easy to read.

Q What is your policy on heavy metals?

Some heavy metals like lead, arsenic, cadmium and mercury, which are elements that occur naturally in the earth, may cause organ damage and are classified as possible or known human carcinogens. In the absence of US governmental guidance, Beautycounter has set it's allowable limits at or below the strictest international guidance on acceptable trace levels of heavy
metal impurities in cosmetics. To that end, Beautycounter tests all of it's color cosmetics for heavy metals and strives for "non-detectable " heavy metal limits.
