Learn to create a beautiful and professionally styled, fresh floral arrangement made with flower bouquets purchased at a grocery or box store. Through the demonstration of simple floral design techniques and one- on- one instruction, students will leave class with a modern floral design bursting with autumnal charm and color. You will learn the tips and tips of the trade for keeping flowers looking fresh and long lasting. Floral tools and floral tape will be provided, however please bring your personal scissor and floral clipper if you prefer. This class is perfect for first time floral designers and flower enthusiasts. This session will be led by Trish O’Sullivan, a Master Floral Designer. She is one of New York City’s foremost names in floral design for the past 30 years. She was the director of the prestigious New York Botanical Garden and continues to define the landscape of imagination in floral design. She has also created the living walls of the Emmy Award winning set of The Nate Barks Show and the evocative floral designs created for The Dr. Oz’s Show. Trish’s floral arrangements adorn prestigious residences of Manhattan and Greenwich, Ct. and commercial properties including One 57, 56 Leonard, 88/90 Lexington and the famous Architect and Designer Building in New York City.
