For this workshop, you’ll learn the simple technique of crafting fresh, bendable branches in and around a container. It will create a natural grid for holding flowering spring bulbs anchored in your container. Our Zoom class will present close up views of the step-by-step inserting of branches into a container and each flower placement ensuring floral design success. Students will have time to ask questions and participate in personal design review. You’ll also learn the tips and tricks of the trade for keeping flowers looking fresh and long lasting! This workshop will be led by Master Florist, Trish O’Sullivan. She was a director of the prestigious New York Botanical Garden and one of New York City’s foremost names in floral design for the past 30 years. Students will need a floral clipper & scissors. One week prior to class student designers will receive a list of the best places to purchase flowers and ideas for new or repurposed container.
