Earth Day Panel

Join University of Bridgeport club, "UB Green", at their Earth Day Panel Discussion about taking small steps towards sustainability at home and in our communities.

Date: Monday, April 22

Hours: 7 pm - 9 pm

Location: Mandeville Hall, Room 104 at the University of Bridgeport.

Admission: Free and open to the public.

Topics of discussion include how to start and maintain a sustainable lifestyle, how to go zero waste and save money and the resources available to learn more about living a sustainable lifestyle.

Panelists include:

  • Analiese Paik, CEO, Sustainne will share tips for living sustainably and going zero waste
  • Peter van Geldern, Founder and Director of Design, UNFOLD Creative will share sustainable architecture trends and how they're impact the way we live and placemake.
  • Mustafa Salahuddin, President-Business Agent, ATU Local 1336 will share the exciting story of how Bridgeport came to be the first Connecticut city to add fully-electric buses to its fleet.
Parking can be found behind Mandeville Hall or the Student Center Parking lot, which are off of Myrtle Avenue, or on Park Avenue.
