Planet New Canaan welcomes the public to attend Cultivating a Sustainable Lifestyle with Sustainne founder and CEO Analiese Paik. This lively, interactive presentation helps guests learn ways, both big and small, to change our lifestyles to live more sustainably. The cost of doing nothing is prohibitive so we cannot continue with business as usual. Our personal choices have a big impact on the earth and those who emulate our behavior.

Speaker Bio

Analiese Paik is a sustainability champion and founder and CEO of Sustainne, a company dedicated to uniting, nurturing and growing a community dedicated to sustainable living. The free website and marketing activities – newsletters, events, social media, personal sustainability pledges – serve to inform and empower consumers to live more sustainably with the help of local member businesses. In 2009 she founded the Fairfield Green Food Guide, an award-winning digital news publication that empowered Fairfield County consumers to eat locally and sustainably. She served on the advisory board of the CT DOA’s Farm-to-Chef Program, and as an advisor to Slow Food Metro North, where she previously served as a board member. Paik holds an MBA in Finance and previously worked in marketing management positions in the financial services industry, and as an independent digital marketing consultant. She is also a graduate of the Institute of Culinary Education in New York City, and studied wine at the International Wine Center in New York City. She is the recipient of multiple Morris Media Green Award Honorable Mentions, the Slow Food Metro North Snail of Approval Award, and multiple Green Coast Awards.
